“Easel” Official Music Video Filmed, Directed, and Edited by Anastasiya "Stas" Slyvka

Before kicking into a racing melody, “Easel” begins with an angsty and relaxed instrumental rhythm, accompanied by sizzling vocals. Each verse builds into a shimmering clash of hearty drums and rustic guitars, creating a sharp, dynamic energy that bubbles with a contagious and earnest yearning. Each instrumental carries an ambitious presence, expanding alongside the vocals and sparkling production to reflect the song’s striking personality. As the track’s thick atmosphere grows more intense, the grungy vocals find a sharp clarity and fierce character that shapes the song’s emotional arc.

The vocals are rich and punctuated by a strong and addictive personality reminiscent of the undeniable charisma, angst, and fiery passion of 90s legends such as Alanis Morissette, Fiona Apple, Hole, Liz Phair, and Letters to Cleo, just to name a few. “Easel” quickly finds a natural balance between the vocals and instrumentals so that rather than one overpowering the other, they amplify one another, creating a track that is wonderfully difficult to pull away from.

Give “Easel” a listen and keep an eye out for more music from Neptune’s Core coming soon!
