The Company Car Reveal Their Lore in New Track “Unlimited Opportunity”
To quote the wisdom of Forest Gump: “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.” Well, hopefully you’ll get chocolate, but life can throw some surprising twists; sometimes the surprise is that you get exactly what you asked for.

Lead singer and songwriter Beau Williams formed the Nashville-based indie alternative rock band The Company Car in January of 2024 . . . and less than a month later an actual company car crashed into his house. If that’s not a divinely-guided sign that you’re on the right track, what is? With a situation that serendipitously unlucky, all that’s left to do is turn it into a theme song — which is exactly what The Company Car did in their new single “Unlimited Opportunity.”
“Unlimited Opportunity” is The Company Car’s first single ahead of their winkingly-named debut LP The Return Of, slated for self-release in September, which will tickle your fancy if you’re a fan of The Beatles’ The White Album and Ween’s Pure Guava. The rollicking, thumping song weaves the lore of the car crash incident throughout a bouncy melody and smashing cymbals. “It’s a new traffic pattern that you can’t ignore / It takes a lot to get it off your brain / The sound of the crash and then the split of the frame.”
When your sense of security is splintered, where do you go from there? (After you’ve contacted your insurance, of course.) Do you create stronger guardrails, or do you lean into the swerve that life has thrown you? To help your soul-searching, also listen to The Company Car’s track “Sideways” from their EP of the same name.
But wait, there’s more—for the price of one release, you get two versions of “Unlimited Opportunity” to experience! The Company Car has also dropped a bouncier, thicker 2.0 version so you can pick the tempo that best fits whatever unexpected event has hurtled your way.
