LAUNDRY DAY announces a second half to their fifth album, “Younger Than I Was Before, Act 2”

Independent group, LAUNDRY DAY announce a second part to their album fifth homegrown album “Younger Than I Was Before”, starting with singles “Crazy Stupid Love” and “My Shining Star”.

“Younger Than I Was Before” (now taking the title of “Act 1”) was released in the back half of June, following standout singles "We All Gotta Find A Reason" and "Dysmorphia", both of which reminded listeners to reflect on their prior thoughts and behaviors, particularly during their secondary years.

The album is representative of a school dynamic, (hence the many references to the American school system, and the fact that the entire group has aged out of high school), the first part of the album was rounded out by the track titled “Intermission”, like one that typically happens during a school play or talent show, which left a majority of the audience in question as to why their would be an intermission at the end.

The band cleared up all confusion with the announcement of the second part, as well as releasing a track list to the second half, totaling in 14 songs, adding an unanticipated longevity to the 12-song beginning half.

The release date is set for Sept. 1st.

If you enjoyed “Younger Than I Was Before”, be sure to catch LAUNDRY DAY on tour in this fall, opening for Neon Trees.
