“The Bonnaroo Trail:” Manchester’s Summer Festival Announces Summer 2025 Lineup
Earlier this week, the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival began teasing the lineup for their annual weekend of performances that music lovers have been anxiously awaiting for. Many have already pitched their tents by following along with the recently released “Bonnaroo Trail,” a web game released to guide people through their best ticket options for the festivals and the various camping opportunities available throughout the 700-acre natural grounds where the festival takes place. After announcing an electric lineup of the greatest bands of singers in every genre from country to hip hop, the excitement for Bonnaroo has hit a high until the festival finally takes place this summer.
This year’s Bonnaroo will take place from Thursday, June 12th, until Sunday, June 15th. Each of the four days of the festival has something exciting to bring listeners of all types of music in to enjoy the celebration. On Thursday, country star Luke Combs and house sensation Dom Dolls serve as the headliners; whether dressed ready for a rave or suited up in cowboy boots, there’s no denying that everyone will be dancing the night away. In addition to headliners, hip-hop fans will be treated with icons like the chaotic Insane Clown Posse and the energetic Joey Valence & Brae, while guitars will no doubt take control of the audience through the bluesy performance of Marcus King and folk-rock excellence from indie duo hey, nothing. Thursday will kick Bonnaroo off with an incredible start, leaving fans even more excited for what’s to come.
Friday’s headliners are Tyler, The Creator, John Summit, and Glass Animals. Each of these artists had huge album releases last year with CHROMOKOPIA, Comfort in Chaos, and I Love You So F***ing Much, so fans will be ecstatic to see the live renditions from some of this generation’s greatest artists on Friday. The three headliners are joined by indie rock phenomena like Rainbow Kitten Surprise, flipturn, Wallows, and Mannequin Pussy; however, the genre lineup for Friday is contained by no bounds, as stellar performances from Rachel Chinouriri, JPEGMAFIA, and Ginger Root are also in store.
Attendees on Saturday can prepare to let all their angst out with two of the biggest names in punk pop from the early 2000s and now the 2020s: Avril Lavigne and Olivia Rodrigo. In addition to these two incredible artists, dance music duo Justice take the third headlining spot for Saturday, sealing the deal for the night to be an energetic masterpiece. Artists like Hot Mulligan and Destroy Boys continue the punk vibes for the evening, while artists like Tyla and Crankdat will certainly keep all of Bonnaroo dancing throughout the night. However, the night has music for fans of all sorts of genres, with names like singer-songwriter Gigi Perez, rapper GloRilla, and indie pop singer beabadoobee ready to bring their all to Tennessee.
Indie rock takes full control of the headlining crew for the final night on Sunday, featuring Hozier, Vampire Weekend, and Queens of the Stone Age. Indie showstoppers like Remi Wolf, Royel Otis, and Role Model will bring forth their best for the evening as Bonnaroo finishes up. Supporting acts like Natasha Bedingfield, Treaty Oak Revival, and Saint Motel will solidify the fact that the final night of Bonnaroo is most certainly not going to be one to forget. While nobody will ever want this year’s incredible lineup to end, there’s no better way to close the curtains than with the stacked lineup that awaits campers on Sunday night.
With a lineup featuring some of the biggest names from all areas of the music industry, the introduction of “The Infinity Stage,” the largest 360-degree spatial audio experience in the world, and a 3-day residency from alternative rock band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, there’s no denying that Tennessee is the place to be when Bonnaroo rolls around in June. Tickets for the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival go on sale on January 9th at 10am CT. You can check out all of the available packages here.
