Utah’s Kilby Block Party Returns with a Star-Studded Lineup for its 7th Annual Run

Salt Lake City, Utah • May 15th-17th, 2026

The best festival in all of music will return again this year for another weekend, May 15th-17th. Salt Lake City’s Kilby Block Party is notorious for hosting the singular most unique lineup annually, and this year is no different, with a stacked headlining bill strengthened by a spectacular curation of up-and-coming artists as support. Some acts to note include Lorde, Turnstile, and Hayley Williams on the top end, and This is Lorelai, Chanel Beads, and Freak Slug on the latter half of the bill. With a lineup this good, Kilby’s booking agents seriously deserve a raise.

Not only does Kilby Block Party feature some of the best artists each year, but the festival is also known for its perfectly curated local activities and vendors. I know the loves and hobbies of a typical “indie” listener are a bit of a stereotype, but Kilby really knows how to please its audience. With vinyl vendors, film booths, and tattoo artists, if you’re ever bored at Kilby Block Party, you have to be doing something wrong. Not to mention the incredible food options that feature everything from classic carnival foods to salads to burrito bowls. 

We’ve had the privilege of attending Kilby Block Party in the past, and there is something to be said about a festival’s ability to bring back the press time and time again.
