New York City based alternative rock band, Savoia, has released their latest single titled “Lose You Completely.”
Savoia’s discography consists of two other singles, “Bringing Me Down,” and “Hypochondriac.” Their latest, “Lose You Completely,” is the first single off their forthcoming EP that has yet to be announced.
The eclectic four piece band consists of Lucas Allan (vocals), Mercer Meeks (guitar), Caleb Rubin (bass), and Jonathan Awad (drums). Together, Savoia is able to function as one tight-knit alternative rock band.
“Lose You Completely” begins with a tight drum roll and fast paced intricate guitar licks. After the intro, the song quickly slides into a groovy tempo change with ear-catching riffs between beats. Savoia was able to create an effortlessly catchy hook in order to captivate listeners. The lyrics match with the rhythm section, which keeps the metronome-like beat throughout the body of the song. A smooth roll into each chorus is encapsulated with falsetto vocals that create a delicate, sultry sound. Then, a catchy guitar solo is the bridge in the song and breaks up the continuous rhythms that immediately grabs attention. The steady melody continues throughout the song until it fades off in the end, hearing one last guitar strum before it goes silent.
