FM 102.1's 2017 Big Snow show featured acts such as The Wrecks, an upbeat indie rock band from Los Angeles, and Dashboard Confessional, a rock outfit from Boca Raton, FL.

Newcomers The Wrecks opened the show, warming up the crowd with their energy and catchy tunes. Though not every fan in attendance may have known the lyrics to their songs, their mix of covers and original songs kick-started the crowd for the night. The band is definitely one to check out if you're a fan of acts including The Pixies, The Strokes, Weezer, and Vampire Weekend, where they take inspiration.

Staples in the emo genre since 1999, Dashboard Confessional, soon followed. The band is led by singer Chris Carrabba, but that doesn't mean that the rest of the band is any less spirited. The group performed tracks off of their November 2017 release like 'We Fight', while also opening and closing with fan favorites such as 'Vindicated' and 'Hands Down'.
