The Get Free Tour | 1/21/2018
Picturesque, a rising act from Lexington, KY, succeeded in warming up the Indianapolis fans. Vocalist Kyle Hollis joined the crowd toward the middle of the set, which further excited the crowd. Although they may not have as much touring experience as their tour mates, they certainly had their own dedicated fans in the crowd.
Broadside bursted onto the stage with energy, getting the crowd jumping from the first song. Singer Ollie Baxter peppered in jokes throughout the set to loosen fans up.
Aussies Tonight Alive had the audience screaming back every word. Catching onto this during the fourth song of the set, ‘World Away’, vocalist Jenna McDougall let the crowd sing the powerful lyrics, “This is not my punishment, this is my catalyst for growth." McDougall was dancing and moving for the entire set, emphasized by her oversized sweatshirt. The band finished off their set with 'Temple', the lead single off of their newest album, Underworld.
Silverstein finally gave the fans what they were waiting for, opening with Ghost. The band didn’t give them much of a break by rarely stopping between songs, but that didn't kill the audience's energy. Not able to stand still, fans were moshing and crowd surfing for most of the set.
