Alec Benjamin @ The McDonald Theatre

On October 10th, Alec Benjamin made a stop in Eugene on his current (Un)Commentary tour to promote the accompanying album that came out this April. This was his first time visiting the college town, and although it was a smoky day in Oregon, the show was completely sold out. The venue was packed with young fans who were filled with excitement. In the line before the show and in the crowd, you could hear everyone talking about what song they were most excited to hear or how long they have been waiting to see him live. There were even a few families in attendance with little ones who got their introduction to live music with Alec’s show. The crowd was going crazy for his little jokes between songs and as well as his iconic hits like “Devil Doesn’t Bargain.” He seemed to really connect with his audience and put on a great show for his dedicated Oregonian fans.
