Sibling band, Echosmith 'float' around stage on Halloween
ST. LOUIS, OCTOBER 31ST, 2022
Trio Echosmith dress as inflatables for their Halloween performance at Delmar Hall in St. Louis.
Echosmith, composed of three siblings– Sydney, Noah, and Graham Sierota, perform at Delmar Hall in St. Louis.
In light of Halloween, the group took the stage in oversized inflatable costumes. Sydney in a red “car wash” inflatable, Noah in an inflatable chicken, and Graham as “Porky Pig” from children's cartoon show, “Looney Tunes”.
Sydney took a moment to address the crowd, speaking on her priority of being intentional in her work and with the people she is around, even asking members of the crowd who came to mind.
The monologue was followed by “Tell Her You Love Her”, which led into a cover of “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac.
The group had many moments of interaction with the crowd, at one moment letting an audience member choose a custom fortune cookie out of a container, the fortune cookie containing a song off their first album.
“We wanted to leave this song up to chance,” Sydney said.
The fortune cookie revealed “Cool Kids (Cookie Version)”, leaving the group to perform a rendition of the 2013 hit single. Replacing the usual lyrics with “I wish that I could be like the cookie, ‘cause all the cookies, they seem to fit in”.
With bubbles floating the stage, the siblings ended the performance with “Cool Kids (Our Version)”, a rerecording of their track.
The group was supported by both BandofSilver and LostBoyCrow.
