The Velveteers @ The Hard Rock

Atlantic City - December 10, 2022

It’s been a busy year for The Velveteers. Providing coverage for bands like The Black Keys and Greta Van Fleet while also headlining a tour of their own and releasing their new single “See Me”.

For two back to back nights, at the Hard Rock in Atlantic City, The Velveteers energized the crowd for Greta Van Fleet on their Dreams in Gold Tour. Shows that were originally scheduled for April, but were postponed due to an illness within Greta Van Fleet. Although there were setbacks early on in the tour, nothing stopped them from giving their all in every performance.

Waiting in a pit with hundreds of people, hours prior to the first act, can be a bit tiring. However, with a performer like The Velveteers you’re going to feel energized the moment they take the stage. You can really feel the energy that they bring to the stage and the energy exchange between all of the members.

They’re always looking for ways to interact with their fans. At one point Baby, one of the two dummers, brought a drum to the crowd for them to hold while they played on it. An interaction like this is extremely unique and a sure way to get the crowd going. Although their allotted time was not much, each song left the crowd wanting more and wishing for a longer set.

If you’re someone who enjoys the 70’s rock and roll feel, be sure to check them out!
