Local Chicago band Muted Color put on a killer opening set this past week at Empty Bottle. Their shoegaze and indie rock stylings immediately grabbed the crowd’s attention, shifting all eyes towards the stage as soon as the first song began. Their set list included older classics from their discography along with their two newest songs off Radial, their most recent EP. Muted Color is definitely a band to look out for as their dreamy ethereal sound and layered guitar riffs are guaranteed to echo in the heads of any crowd.
