“Rise Against,” the American punk rock band from Chicago, formed in 1999, played their third consecutive show in their hometown past Saturday, April 1st. Three days, three unique setlists that left the audience with a different experience every night. Halfway through the show, the lead singer Tim McIlrath asked the audience how many had been there for the second or third time and it was clear the audience consisted of longtime fans who have been coming back every night. Due to the bands insane energy, as well as the crowds love for the artists and love for rock altogether, the night consisted of a lot of crowdsurfing, many rock signs, and screaming the lyrics at the top of our lungs.
