YUNGBLUD Rocks Nashvilles Ascend Amphitheater

I’ve never met a more energetic performer in my life.

People lined up hours prior to doors, in hopes to be as close as possible to the stage. Dressed in their most expressive concert attire, ready to scream the lyrics to their favorite songs.

Preparing the crowd for what was to come, Games We Play and The Regrettes brought the energy levels up with each of their acts. They each performed their own original songs, as well as some popular covers, which always seem to get a lot of audience engagement. Excitement levels continued to rise, along with the anticipation as time passed in between sets.

The crowd erupted as Yungblud took over the stage. From the second he stepped on stage, everyone was yelling the lyrics to every song along with him. Running and jumping around the stage he made sure to interact with the crowd as much as possible, being the ultimate hype man for everyone, showing them that they are in a safe space to be just as wild for the night.

Though he never let his energy die down throughout the night, he did bring it down just for a moment as his girlfriend Jesse Jo joined him on stage for a Johnny Cash cover; as one does in Nashville. Quickly erupting with a second wave of vivacity he continued through his set and even brought a crowd of people on stage with him at the end.

His North America tour is coming to a close, however, if you are looking for an entertaining, lively concert, and you have the opportunity to catch one of the remaining shows, I highly recommend it.
