OTRP Makes it to Seattle for Day In Day Out Fest

SEATTLE, August 12-13 2023

The third annual Day In Day Out Fest in Seattle was an iconic weekend of warm weather, indie-folk tunes and overall good vibes. The event took place at the beautiful Fisher Pavilion at Seattle Center and showcased quite the star-studded lineup, with fan favorite headliners Leon Bridges and Bon Iver. Fans of all ages joined for this single stage (and family friendly) festival, which was perfectly paced for a relaxing two days of live music, art, and great food under the iconic Space Needle.

Notable moments over the weekend included an emotive performance from Brooklyn-based DJ, Yaeji, who sings her mellow yet vibey vocals in both English and Korean. Dominic Fike was a crowd favorite with Gen-Z attendees, especially upon the release of his most recent album, Sunburn. It was neat to see him interact so attentively to fans along the barricade and create a truly memorable performance. Saturday closed out with the suave Leon Bridges, who’s backup vocals and stage graphics complimented his smooth-like-butter voice that echoed across the sold-out crowd. Sunday’s highlight was the incredibly badass Willow, who’s alt-punk sound had the crowd catching all the vibes. Bon Iver closed out the weekend under a starry, tranquil sky, where fans stood silent, basking in the harmonies of older hits like “Holocene” and “Skinny Love”. It was a memorable weekend that truly set the tone for indie festivals out there, and the OTRP team is thrilled to see what 2024 will have in store for the Day In Day Out lineup.
