Convert brings their post-punk fury to Concord Music Hall
Milwaukee's very own Convert took over Concord Music Hall Thursday night, in support of Long Island hardcore band Glassjaw's 30 Years Of Making Things tour, warming the crowd up for an end of the year celebration.
Riding off their debut record Saves that came out just a year ago, the band's setlist contained lots of material from the album. They brought droning synths, pulsating back beats, and aggressive vocals to Concord's stage, very reminiscent to that of Chicago native's and industrial metal legends Ministry.
The band played tight, with all members showcasing their chemistry with one another, piecing together an orchestrated symphony of chaos to the audience that night. The brief 30-minute set was packed with constant action, strobing lights to go along with the frenzied performance, and sharp execution.
