The Last Dinner Party play a boisterous show at Thalia Hall gearing up for Lollapalooza

In all their exuberant glory, The Last Dinner Party took the stage shortly after midnight at Chicago Thalia Hall. The band’s introduction to the stage was proceeded by the instrumental title track of their album Prelude to Ecstasy. The entire room roared as each member walked out, each adorned with their own tradmark styles. The band played through most of the album with enough energy to revive even those in the crowd loosing stem from a long, hot day on the Lollaplooza grounds. They even managed to throw in a couple new songs, currently unrelesed, one of them being Big Dog (a song the band debuted live last year). By the end of the show the excitment in the room had hit a high as the band introduced their most recognisable song Nothing Matters with a champagne toast. The room was electric.
