Movements Empower Aragon Ballroom
On an exhilarating night for Chicago’s social scene, Movements gave a dynamic and energetic performance at the stunning Aragon Ballroom. The band are currently just past the halfway point of their tour, rounding out the their final run of shows on the RUCKUS! world tour. From the first cycle of shows within this era of the bands music to their present run of shows, Movements has sizably grown in notoriety. This tour, the bands name hangs in lights high above the stage, emphasizing the metamorphosis in production was they move on to bigger and bigger venues. Just last year the band played the Concord music hall which has a 1490 person capacity, to now playing the Aragon stage for a 4,873 capacity.
Highlights from the show include songs like Kept that has a course that echos through the venue joined by fans singing at the top of their lungs and show closer Daylily that leaves audiences with a warm hug reminding everyone that they are worthy of love and happiness.
Having seen Movements performing many times over the years, it’s clear that this is a band that empowers fans be present and feel something during their shows. With personable crowd interaction and encouragement, fans can feel the love and appreciation the guys of Movements have for their work.
