Hannah Jadagu Brings A Night of Tumblr Era Nostalgia

February 27, 2026 - Nashville, TN

February 27th, perhaps Nashville’s warmest evening after the recent notorious January ice storm—the moon was out, nearly full, and the air felt warm with optimism that spring wasn’t too far off. The sidewalks were filled with fans laughing, huddled together, eager for a night of connection and good music. There was not a single parking spot left on either side of the street for several blocks, and fans found themselves being dropped off or walking to the venue. It was clear upon pulling up that Marathon Music Works was going to be packed for the show tonight.

The atmosphere inside the venue felt like an intimate music festival or some sort of carnival, as the stage was draped in a curtain tent-like structure. To the right of the stage, merch was being sold, and to the left you could pick up a hot dog from Daddy’s Dog (seriously incredible hot dogs). All that was missing was a ferris wheel or carnival ride. The room was filled with joy as everyone danced along to the pre-show playlist.

Around 8pm, Hannah Jadagu took the stage, alongside Garrett Chabot on guitar and Jacob Stockman on drums. Notably, Jadagu released her sophomore album Describe on October 24, 2025. The album includes instant classics such as “Gimme Time, My Love”, and “Normal Today.” Following her album release and after opening for Del Water Gap for several sold-out shows across the U.S. and Canada on his Chasing the Chimera World Tour 2026, fans were well versed in Jadagu’s indie-dream-pop style of music.

Jadagu’s ethereal performance felt like the room had traveled back in time to the 2010s, specifically peak Tumblr era (2010-2012). The teal lights and shadows brought on a nostalgic presence and dream-like aura. Everywhere you looked, fans were dancing and jumping, singing to each other, completely carefree.

When Jadagu began singing her hit song “All My Time Is Wasted”, the audience was fully tuned in, gently swaying and drifting to Jadagu’s calming vocals. A sea of lights from their cellphones lit up the room. The audience chanted back in unison the lyrics during the chorus. This moment brought a bright smile to Jadagu.

While the North American leg of tour is soon coming to a close with just one more show in Atlanta, GA, you can continue checking out Jadagu’s music and see her perform at Gov Ball music festival this summer.
