Belle and Chain Take Toronto for the First Time
Toronto, Ontario - April 18, 2026
Fresh off the release of their debut single, “Don’t You Worry Babe”, Belle and Chain graced the stage at Toronto’s Adelaide Hall, opening for Barns Courtney on his “Unplugged” solo acoustic tour. With the line wrapped around the block long before doors opened, the sold out show packed into the small venue long before Belle and Chain stepped on stage.
Walking out to a buzz of excited cheers, Belle and Chain quickly won over the crowd with their warm sound, blending a Western edge with rock roots, encompassing the entire room. Started as the musical alias of actor, filmmaker and musician Spencer Grammer, Belle and Chain has evolved into a full band project with multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Davis IL.
With only one released song under their belt so far, Belle and Chain look completely at home on stage, drawing the audience fully into their world as they told jokes and the stories behind each song. Grammer prefaced “No Such Thing” with a confession that she doesn’t actually believe in love, playfully asking those who share similar sentiments to join her in the song and the rest of the crowd to ignore the track.
Breaking the set up with a cover, Belle and Chain asked the audience if they’ve heard of the band Geese, met with a chorus of cheers, before launching into an acoustic cover of “Cobra”. Ending the set with “Lollypop”, based on a past 3 year long situationship, the crowd was singing and clapping along, happily wrapped up in the stories and music that filled the room.
On the cusp of more new music and releases, keep an eye out for Belle and Chain. Catch them now on tour with Barns Courtney until the beginning of May and stay tuned for what they do next.
