In Color Returns Home to Nashville
Nashville, Tennessee - April 25th, 2026
To conclude an epic run on their headlining tour, In Color sold out the Basement East! The room was fully packed with locals and fans traveling from out of state. The stage was draped in a white sheet-like fabric, creating a cocoon that felt cozy and intimate. The lighting fixtures were vibrant and full of color, rotating between deep blues, hazy greens, and cool yellows. You almost felt like you were entrenched in a wintery haven.
Singer, Holden Clontz, shared a sentimental story with the audience, recalling back to a time where the four friends (Holden Clontz, Matthew Hastings, Val Hoyt, and Miles Laderma) were trapped indoors during a winter storm. After the storm, the friends all individually texted one another, knowing instantly they had found magic and wanted to create something together. The band dropped their first EP, Snow Day, back in October of 2025 with Big Loud Rock. The title is very fitting for how this band found their unique start and it’s clear they wanted to share a bit of the story of their earlier start back with the audience for this show.
Fans all throughout the room felt the connection that was ever so present between the four friends on stage. The audience drew out their lighters, bringing a warmth and nostalgic feel to the room. Despite how recently this EP was released, fans knew every word and were chanting the lyrics back to the band. The band paused during the song “I Want You”, soaking in the moment of togetherness.
The band performed a two song encore with “When the lights come on” and “Headlights”, yet fans were eager for the show to continue.
There is certainly more to come for In Color, and they will be heading back on the road May 12th for their show at the Dublin Castle in London. Check out tickets to their remaining shows here.
