Black Veil Brides On BVB Day

London, England - June 17, 2026

17 years ago, Black Veil Brides released their debut single “Knives and Pens.”, the release date has since been known by fans as Black Veil Brides Day. On June 17, 2026, exactly 17 years later, Black Veil Brides took the stage at The Dome in London to perform songs both old and new with celebratory grins and hearts full of gratitude. Their latest album, VINDICATE, was just released this past May.

Opening for the band on their special day was Saint Agnes, an alternative metal group hailing straight from East London. The crowd stood anxiously swaying, awaiting what they didn’t know would become a pair of life changing sets. Starting off their performance with the title track from their 2023 album BLOODSUCKERS, the band instantly grabbed the crowd’s attention. With wild, continuous flashing lights, an abundance of fry screams, and impressive guitar shredding, Saint Agnes not only brought the room’s energy up by tenfold, but also had the crowd screaming right back at them. After closing their set with “The Father, The Son, and The Holy Beast,” a track from their newest album Your God Fearing Days Are About To Begin, the understanding of having just discovered a new band to add to your list of favorites rippled through the crowd.

In honor of performing on Black Veil Brides day, the band began their set with none other than “Knives and Pens”, the song that started it all. The fan reaction was instantaneous. A sea of headbanging and hands holding up horns became a constant part of the night.

Unlike other shows held in a smaller venue with a slightly shorter setlist, this show was designed for fan interaction. Unsurprisingly, the crowd was full of dedicated fans decked out in patch-covered denim, ripped band tees, dyed hair, and makeup that replicated the band’s iconic look from 2011. At several points during the night, lead singer Andy Biersack would take a moment to look out at the crowd and answer some of his fans' most pressing questions. One person even asked Beirsack if he were a vampire, to which he responded with “What if I said yes?”

While the first half of the show was mainly composed of the band’s newer releases, the second half was dedicated to playing a generous amount of beloved throwbacks. And although their original drummer wasn’t able to be in attendance, his replacement, Wade Murff, fit right in.

The band played many fan favorites, but the consecutive pairing of “Sweet Blasphemy,” “Wretched and Divine,” and “Faithless” had fans moving in such a way that you could taste the sweat in the air, feel the music vibrating through your body, and know that everyone’s thundering heartbeats meant a collective love for what you were experiencing together. It was exhausting in a way that makes you crave doing it over and over again. The lights were slightly disorienting and personal space was nonexistent, but the room felt alive with an energy so powerful and present you could almost reach out and grab it.

As the show came to an end, the band’s final song quickly became the best part of the night. Performing “In The End,” Biersack pointed the mic towards the crowd and listened as the entire crowd sang his lyrics to him. Not a single person in the room was without a smile on their face. After it had all ended and the mass of black fabric and face paint poured out of the small venue doors, it was clear that not a single person left unsatisfied.

Black Veil Brides are set to tour the US, UK, AND EU for their VINDICATOUR starting in August of 2026 and continuing through February of 2027 with special guests Caskets, Archers, Holy Wars, and Autumn Kings. Be sure to grab your tickets now. Listen to VINDICATE below.
