Isabel LaRosa Enchants Toronto On Her Spellbinding Dollparts Tour

Toronto, Ontario — October 24, 2026

Last night, October 24th, 2026, alt-pop artist Isabel LaRosa brought her Dollparts Tour to The Garrison in Toronto. This North American tour run at a series of intimate venues began earlier this month, and combines the worlds of LaRosa’s musical projects including her third EP, Promising Young Woman, released earlier this year on June 26th, 2026.

LaRosa’s Dollparts show is not your average concert. As it was introduced to the audience, it is a blend of theatre and music, part play and part concert. The stage was transformed into a bedroom set complete with a bed, a lamp, blue and white floral wallpaper, and a vanity with a cracked mirror. The stage was bathed in a pale blue light as the scene was set for the show and the ‘actors’ were introduced: Rhys Hastings on drums, Thomas LaRosa (Isabel’s brother) on guitar, and Isabel LaRosa, performing the roll of Sophia the Doll.

Throughout the show, LaRosa would narrate the story of Sophia the Doll, which references Alice in Wonderland and follows her journey through darkness, loneliness, fear, doubt, and her relationship to a voice that started appearing in her dreams. Opening with “Hallucination,” she questions if this voice she hears is real, followed by “Pretty Boy” off of her 2025 debut album Raven, where the voice offers her companionship and a way out of the darkness. As the story continues, Sophia changes her appearance for the voice during “eyes don’t lie”, hoping he’d like her more as a result, but he leaves her more alone than ever and the darkness takes over her life with “Burning” and “HAUNTED”. Sophia comes to realize that the voice had promised to save her from the darkness, but there had never been any darkness before the voice. Reclaiming her own voice with “Hate Myself For Loving You” and “Girl Of Your Dreams,” she ultimately decides to leave the voice with “Home.”

Although this show is partly a theatrical performance, LaRosa still took the time to interact with her fans all throughout the night. She would often kneel down on the stage to sing directly to fans and hold their hands. Before closing the show, she addressed the crowd with a vulnerable, heartfelt speech, showing her love for all the other dolls in the crowd, stating: “you will always have somebody who loves you, and that person is me.” The show ended with “My Girl” before a three-song encore of fan favourites “older,” “favorite,” and “i’m yours.”

It was quite special to witness this scale of a production in such a small venue. LaRosa has crafted an engaging story-driven show and cleverly weaved together her songs from different projects to create a seamless narrative. On top of that, her dark alt-pop sound paired with her wispy vocals fit perfectly with this dark, fairlytale-esque story set in Wonderland. The Dollparts Tour continues for a final 3 shows in Washington, New York, and Boston – get tickets here.
