Periphery Brings A Pale White Dot to Toronto

Toronto, Ontario - October 26, 2026

Toronto’s History late Monday evening was brimming with energy, the heat from the bright lights and excitement from the packed crowd was contagious from the moment you stepped through the door. In support of the release of their latest record, A Pale White Dot, Periphery has set out on a headlining tour for the ages, bringing Ne Obliviscaris, Greyhaven, and Ando San along on the road with them.

Fans were packed wall to wall through the venue, the crowd a mosaic of old and new tour t-shirts alike, a testament to Periphery’s journey so far as much as it was a gallery of love for the band. The excitement in the room was palpable from the moment you joined the crowd, as friends and strangers told stories of old tours and guessed which songs were going to make the setlist tonight, crossing fingers for a range of old favourites.

From the moment the lights lowered and drummer Matt Halpern stepped out onto the stage, the crowd erupted, a united chorus of cheers that amplified tenfold as Halpern was followed by bandmates Spencer Sotelo, Misha Mansoor, Mark Holcomb, and Jake Bowen. Starting the night hard and heavy, the band was unrelenting from the first song as the crowd pushed towards the barrier, waves of crowd surfers falling towards the stage.

“Are you ready to get wild tonight?!” lead singer Spencer Sotelo cried into the microphone before kicking off into “Wildfire”, the energy in the building electrifying as a pit opened in the middle of the floor. The setlist was a mix of new and old tracks, dominated by songs off of A Pale White Dot, much to the clear delight of the audience.

Proving the band’s total control over the room, the audience happily obliged to slow down for a moment for “Unlocking”, the buzzing energy combined with a mixture of breathless awe for the slower track. The slow moment did not last for long, the second half of the set drew the energy right back through the roof as the floor opened up entirely, creating an enormous pit in the centre of the room.

Beyond the excitement, the love for the music was clear from both the stage and throughout the crowd.
