Toronto Dives Into The Deep End With Julia Wolf
Toronto, Ontario — October 7, 2026
A rainy October evening felt like the perfect time of year for alt-rock artist Julia Wolf to make a stop in Toronto on her Deep End World Tour. After the success of “In My Room,” which pushed her music to a wider audience, and following a support run earlier this year with Machine Gun Kelly, Wolf has embarked on her headlining world tour for her latest album PRESSURE, released May 23 2025. Last Wednesday, October 7th2026, fans showed up to Toronto’s Opera House dressed in their best leather outfits complete with chains and buckles for Wolf’s sold out show.
Austin, Texas-based rock artist Bee Blackwell opened the show with an awesome set showcasing her songs exploring obsession, identity, revenge, and feminine power with a consistent guitar-driven sound and emo and grunge influences. Her latest single “The Knife” is out now.
Julia Wolf walked out onto the stage beaming, waving to fans, as smoke poured out over the stage that was decorated with a vanity with multiple, different shaped mirrors, a window with gold light shining through it, and a heavy chain-link microphone stand. The crowd was just excited to see her, cheering as she started into “Wishbone” and her distinctly ethereal vocals filled the venue. The crowd erupted into loud cheers and head-banging when the heavy guitars and drums kicked in at the chorus, screaming “I’m so sore, I’m so sore”. Following “Wishbone,” the set continued with “Kill You Off,” “Loser,” and “Deep End” where the crowd waved their arms in unison with Wolf on stage. Her music translates incredibly in a live setting, with the heavy emo/punk-rock inspired instrumentals hitting harder as the songs went on throughout the night.
Wolf played a tight set which came in at just under an hour, and featured the 11-track PRESSURE in full alongside new and old songs like the recently released “Lamb” featuring Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens, and old track “Burning House.” Every song she played felt like it was the hit that the audience had been waiting for all night, which speaks to the amount of love the fans have for every single one of Wolf’s songs. “Jennifer’s Body” and “Pearl” were definite standouts of the show. Ending the night with her hit “In My Room,” Wolf thanked the audience for dressing up and coming out, and that she had the best time and hoped that the next time she’s in Toronto she sees everyone again.
Julia Wolf is mid-way through her North American tour dates, before playing shows across the UK and Europe until the beginning of December – get tickets here!
