Geese, Blood Orange, The Strokes & More: Bonnaroo 2026 Day 2

Welcome back to The Farm fellow Bonnaroovians! After Bonnaroo 2025 was cancelled part-way through due to severe flooding and thunderstorms, fans were more than eager to return this year for a stacked lineup of iconic rock, indie, rap, EDM, and country performances. The unique thing about Bonnaroo is there truly is a genre for every music fan. You can carve out your own unique schedules and travel from stage to stage for your favorite performances. This year at Bonnaroo there were 5 stages at Centeroo: The WHAT, WHICH, THIS, THAT, and the OTHER. Beyond the live music performances, Bonnaroo also offers other activities. Fans have the chance to enjoy partaking in craft-making, yoga, silent discos, shopping, riding the Ferris Wheel, and much more!

One of the most special aspects of Bonnaroo is the focus on community. Ask anyone, and you’ll hear about the famous Bonnaroo tradition. Underneath the Bonnaroo arch you’ll find fans greeting each other with a high-five and “Happy Roo!” as they enter Centeroo to begin their days at the music festival. You’ll also see fans exchanging bracelets, pins, and other tokens as a way to share the good vibes. Bonnaroo perfectly blends live music and community building.

This year, Off The Record began our time at Bonnaroo on Friday, June 12th, by catching a set from Geese. The NYC-based rock band began their performance with a video compilation of Knicks fans chanting and celebrating in the streets of New York. The anticipatory hype was the day before the Knicks won their game against The Spurs.

For anyone on TikTok or based out of New York, you’ll know how monumental this moment was. The Bonnaroo crowd cheered for joy as Geese took the stage. The set was while the sun was still out, casting a sunny glow on the band. Almost one year ago, Geese released their third album, Getting Killed, and since then have been touring across the world. Lead singer Cameron Winter’s captivating vocals immediately had the crowd locked in for their stellar performance. Geese performed a combination of older hits and several songs from the latest album. With the ground muddy and slippery from Tennessee’s recent rainstorms, the crowd moshed with intensity during “Trinidad” and “2122.”

Next up on the THAT stage was Blood Orange. His set felt raw and emotional. He transitioned between playing the cello and keys. His moody storytelling had fans swaying and dancing to his slower toons. The perfect way to calm the evening.

The Strokes took over the WHAT stage with a powerful presence. The headlining stage can hold nearly 80,000 people and looking around everyone was eager for their set. Their electric performance was draped in saturated colors: blues, reds, and greens. Fans chanted every word to many of their songs, including “The Adults are Talking,” “Someday,” and “Juicebox.” Whether you were standing in the GA pit or lounging in the grass at a distance, the energy in the air was full of a genuine love and appreciation for this band.

Turnstile amped things up Friday night with songs like “T.L.C.” and “BIRDS.” The band’s performances are known to be full of jumping and leaping into the air. The fans matched the band’s energy with head-banging, moshing, and jumping to their music.

The weekend is only getting started! Off the Record will be back on Day 3 and 4 of Bonnaroo! If you haven’t got a full weekend pass, you’ll certainly want to get a one-day pass to catch Amyl & The Sniffers, Del Water Gap, Role Model, and more.
