Charli XCX and George Daniel of The 1975 are engaged
Pop star Charli XCX and indie-pop drummer George Daniel of The 1975 announced their engagement with a sweet set of Instagram photos. The two publicly shared their relationship in May of 2022.

The “Speed Drive” singer hinted at the engagement on her private page, 360brat, Monday before the official announcement. This caused debate among fans before she confirmed Tuesday morning.
“charli xcx and george daniel fucking for life!!!” she captioned the announcement.
A power squad of celebrities flooded the comment section to share their love, including The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, fellow Barbie: The Album featured artist Dua Lipa and media mogul Paris Hilton.
“I cry🥹” commented Healy.

“😍😍” shared Hilton.
The couple has worked together on a multitude of music projects. They collaborated for the A24 horror flick Bodies Bodies Bodies soundtrack with “Hot Girl (Bodies Bodies Bodies),” as well as Caroline Polachek’s “Welcome to My Island (Remix)” and “In The City” with Sam Smith. They also collaborated on No Rome’s track “Spinning” in 2021 before they began dating.
