Citizen teases a new album with the announcement of a new single!

American rock band and staple in the pop punk scene, Citizen have been teasing new music all week by attaching snippets of their new single (presumably called “Call Me If You’re Lonely”) to various phone numbers for fans to call. The particular phone numbers could be found in newspapers, on billboards, and on the band’s Instagram story daily.

With their most recent album, Life In Your Glass World, quickly climbing up to the three-year-old milestone, fans are itching for something new from the band. Citizen also just recently finished up a short run of small intimate shows celebrating the ten-year anniversary of their album Youth, a fan favorite, putting them in the perfect place to start a new era for their visuals and music.

Today the band posted a short and sweet message on their Instagram, finally confirming the new single and its release date, July 18th, 2023. But that’s not all… in their caption confirming the single there was also mention of a new album on the horizon with more details to come in the near future.

Be on the lookout for new music from Citizen as they embark on their new chapter.
