When We Were Young returns to Vegas this October

Popular pop punk/emo festival, When We Were Young, recently announced that they’ll be coming back again this year, for the fourth year in Vegas.

The two-day fest takes place at the Las Vegas Fairgrounds, with the same lineup being performed both days. This years lineup is full of nostalgic and popular emo bands such as: Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, A Day to Remember, Pierce the Veil, Sleeping With Sirens, Neck Deep, Taking Back Sunday, Cobra Starship, Jimmy Eat World, and so many more.

The festival has been promoted as bands playing their hit albums, as well as other popular songs. For example, My Chemical Romance will be playing “The Black Parade”, Taking Back Sunday will play "Tell All Your Friends”, Mayday Parade will play “A Lesson In Romantics”, and many more. Not every band will be playing an album though, Fall Out Boy doesn’t have an album listed and instead is shown with a collage of all of their work.

Fans and festival goers are very excited about this lineup but seem to have some issues with the fact that the lineup is the same both days, which some find frustrating. With the amount of bands they have playing, set times for many bands overlap and some sets are very short which makes it difficult to see all the sets people want to see.

GA, GA+, and VIP tickets are still available for purchase and it’ll be really interesting to see these bands play their albums in full!
