Mathcore Legends The Dillinger Escape Plan Return To Chicago to Celebrate 25 years of “Calculating Infinity” On August 24th

New Jersey Mathcore Legends The Dillinger Escape Plan will return to Chicago for the first time in 8 years to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album Calculating Infinity. They will be bringing along NO MEN, The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die, Secret Chiefs 3, and Trash Talk, at none other than Chicago’s infamous Salt Shed. Playing the fairgrounds which holds 5,000 attendees, this marks The Dillinger Escape Plan’s largest headlining show to date. Originally announcing only a singular comeback show at New York’s Brooklyn Paramount on June 21st, and later adding on two additional shows, the band has now made numerous one-off festival appearances this month overseas, as well as playing No Values festival in Pomona, California in June. This show marks their only headlining appearance within the United States this year outside of the Brooklyn Paramount shows back in June.

The band will also be performing with founding vocalist Dimitri Minakakis, who originally departed from the band in 2000, being replaced by Greg Puciato in 2001 who fronted the band until their disbandment in 2017.

It is unknown if The Dillinger Escape Plan will add any additional shows celebrating Calculating Infinity this year, or go back into inactivity after this. Infamous for their high intensity shows, it is certain that The Dillinger Escape Plan will make up for lost time this weekend in Chicago.
