Gigi Perez Announces Release of Debut Album “At The Beach, In Every Life”
Gigi Perez has taken to social media platforms to finally announce the release of her long-awaited debut album. At The Beach, In Every Life, is set to release just next week, on April 25, via Island Records.
It is safe to say that the release of Perez’s debut album has been highly anticipated following the success of her global chart-topper, “Sailor Song,” which took the internet by storm last summer. Amassing over 900 million streams on the hit alone and nearly 30 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Gigi Perez has reached indie stardom. Since then, you could find her touring across Europe performing sold-out shows, appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and leaking snippets of the very songs that will grace her upcoming album.
Perez’s rise to this moment has been anything but conventional. After being dropped from Interscope Records years ago, Perez moved home to hone her craft as a songwriter and producer. In the meantime, she shared authentic covers and original songs on TikTok, building a loyal fanbase who resonated deeply with her lyrics of grief and longing.
The album will contain 12 tracks, five of which are already out on streaming platforms, including her most recent song, “Chemistry,” which was released at the end of this February. See the tracklist below:
