Gibson Introduces the Jake Kiszka SG Standard!
Jake Kiszka, guitarist of rock bands Greta Van Fleet and Mirador, has been hailed as a modern-day guitar hero. His instrument of choice has long been his trusted 1961 Gibson Les Paul (nicknamed the Beloved). Jake has toured all across the world with his cherry red Gibson guitar, which was gifted to him by Chicago Music Exchange during Greta Van Fleet’s early touring days. With his Beloved, he has carved out many epic guitar solos across Greta Van Fleet’s discovery. Most notably, his solos on “The Weight of Dreams,” “Broken Bells,” and “Age of Machine” carry a heavy sense of adventure, loss, and mystery. It is only fitting that after many years of collaboration, Gibson would introduce a guitar model to honor Jake’s impact and legacy in the rock n’ roll scene.
On April 23rd, 2026 (which happens to also be Kiszka’s birthday), the Gibson Jake Kiszka SG Standard was released for purchase. The guitar has a stunning cherry finish, thin guitar neck, and is also hand-signed by Kiszka. Included with the purchase, fans can also receive a signature guitar strap and case marked with Kiszka’s symbol.
On the release day of the guitar, Gibson Garage hosted a live Q&A in Nashville, TN with Kiszka to honor this achievement. He played a few tracks requested by the audience using his new signature model and shared the story of how this collaboration came to be. Fans will certainly be looking forward to more music from Kiszka in the future, and in the meantime, can learn his guitar riffs on the Gibson Jake Kiszka SG Standard.
