Greta Van Fleet @ Thompson-Boling Arena

Knoxville - September 28, 2022

Greta Van Fleet set out on their Dreams In Gold tour in early March. With over 60 shows in multiple different countries and all across the United States; while also providing support for some of Metallica’s Blackened tour.

Attending a Greta Van Fleet show is a unique and intoxicating experience. All starting from the moment you line up. Fans all over the country line up hours and even days before the show, trying to get the best spot possible to fully envelope into the experience.

The minute the curtain goes up, the music shifts, creating more suspense than ever before, awaiting Josh Kiszkas intro monologue. Speaking about life, how moments should be enjoyed and how risks should be taken. With a brief pause following, the curtain falls and you’re consumed by the lights, the energy on stage and within the whole arena.

Greta Van Fleet is extremely interactive with their crowd; taking shots, handing out roses, wearing hats, boas, and sunglasses made and given by their fans. During their performance of “Light my Love”, everyone turned on their flashlights with different pieces of colored paper, to create a beautiful rainbow throughout the arena; recreating the rainbow lighting done on stage.

If you’re fortunate enough to hear “Age of Man” and the extended version of “Age of Machine”, be prepared to feel a whole new vibration within your soul. You can expect unique moments, creative fashion and an unforgettable performance; leaving you wanting more.
