Elevate Your Night with St. Lucia

In celebration of their newest album, Utopia, St. Lucia visited the iconic House of Blues, last Sunday night, for the Chicago stop on their American tour. Led by husband-and-wife duo, Jean-Phillip and Patti, a St. Lucia show is nothing short of electrifying— or what they have self labeled “a dance party at the edge of existence”. With the support of their band, the two transformed the concert hall into a riveting audiovisual experience with glowing lanterns, vibrant colors, and animated audience engagement.

Lead vocalist, Jean-Phillip figuratively and literally held the audience’s hand throughout the performance, amplifying the genuine positivity they radiate as musical artists and as people. “It’s easy to feel depressed these days, so I’m trying to bring something joyous to the world,” Jean-Phillip states. “That’s what being human is about. We have to feel alive, despite whatever the fuck is going on.”

The Utopia tour is definitely one to put on your list of must-see concerts this year. Opened by the talented and enthusiastic Blanks, you are sure to leave the venue with your heart full.
