Arlie: Energetic Indie-Pop Hits the Road

Jacksonville - November 6, 2022

Arlie is delivering a show-stopping performance opening up for The Wrecks on their Back & Better Than Ever Before Tour.

The Nashville indie-pop band delights audiences with an energetic set comprised of their easily danceable tracks like didya think and big fat mouth.

Arlie played a small grungy venue like it was an arena stage. The performance was so lively it felt theatrical. Audience members quickly reciprocated the same energy by dancing and singing along through the duration of the set. The band found creative ways to occupy the small space by climbing on ledges and bouncing all over the stage.

From the crowd, it looked like every band member was having the time their life. The chemistry between the five makes everyone in the audience feel like they are having fun along with them, rather than being performed to. The electricity of the show is elevated by the the skill and passion the band puts into their musicianship. Lead singer Nathaniel Banks’ serves clean, impressive vocals while band members Luke Saison, Ella Mine, Aaron Umberger, and Luke Sheperd work in unison to create the signature joyful Arlie instrumentals.

A highlight from the show was the band’s song Too Long from the debut EP Wait. As one of the group’s sadder songs, its energy may have taken fans by surprise. Hearing the song live creates a whole new experience that can’t quite be captured in a studio recording. Banks’ passionate raw vocals captivated audience members while the band captured the same essence in their instrumentation. Halfway though the song the vocal and instrumental cut out leaving the audience sitting in suspenseful silence waiting for the chorus to come back. The band played with the suspense by interacting with each other and teasing when they were going to continue with the track. The playful moment made the return of the music that much more exciting, as the band had audience members dying to hear the chorus again.

Fans going to see the band live in the future should prepare to experience a show with an unrivaled energy that will leave them dying to see Arlie again.
