DWLLRS @ Schubas Tavern

Closing out their Everything I Dreamed Of tour, Dwllrs brought an energetic show to Schubas Tavern. “Last show, best show!”, lead singer Bren repeated after a fan's proclamation.
Opening their show, the duo walked out on stage to a video projection montage of their journey to this point. From their first song, the crowd was captivated. Even the crew members on the side of the stage were saying that Chicago had the smallest crowd on the tour but yet one of the most animated.
The duo packed their setlist with most of their poppy singles along with an encore which they decided to play right through instead of first walking off stage. In Bren’s words, the crowd was too good throughout the night to not just keep playing through.
Dwllrs played their fan-favorite track Blue Spirits as a part of their encore. This song was truly a highlight of the show. With its warm atmosphere, the whole room felt like one large group of friends.
As one last goodbye and thank you before the band left the stage, Bren, Joey, and their drummer all lay down at the front of the stage for a group photo with the crowd.
