Black Veil Brides: Trinity of Terror
Rochester - November 22, 2022
The Trinity of Terror is a show like no other. Four bands came together to put on a show in 30 different cities across the United States and Canada. People were lined up around the block, hours prior to the doors opening and well after.
As people slowly made their way into the venue, Atreyu took the stage. Although their set was only forty minutes long, they were extremely interactive with the audience and knew exactly what they needed to do to bring the energy up in the building.
After a brief break in the show, Motionless In White started their set. Taking the stage in costumes and face makeup to tell their stories. They had dancers who went through costume changes with each song and had props for each one as well. Their energy throughout their set never let up and never dissipated, which fed the crowd. They were very interactive throughout their set, giving out roses and throwing candy at the very end. Every detail was tied in perfectly to each song.
Black Veil Brides were next and you could feel the excitement in the building. The crowd was getting antsy after the last set. As soon as they came on stage the crowd instantly got louder, which fed into the performance. Band members were not only interactive with the audience but also with each other; leaning on each other while playing and singing and moving all around the stage. During their last song, lead singer Andy Biersack stopped the set due to someone in the pit needing medical attention. They did not continue again until they were sure that person was taken care of.
Ice Nine Kills was the last performance for the night and you could feel the energy shift within the venue. People were eggar for them to take the stage. Their performance was similar to Motionless In White, in the sense that they too wore costumes, had props, actors and actresses. They gave their all into their performance and the audience loved every minute of it. All the visuals and props for each song tied everything together to tell each story. It truly is a show like no other.
