“What's up Chicago! We’re here, and we're Greer,” lead singer Josiah shouted to a near sold-out venue in the West Loop of the city.
The Orange County-based group is made up of Josiah Zeigler, bassist Seth Thomson, drummer Lucas Ovalle, and guitarist Corbin Jacques.
The group opened the show with ‘Little Echo’, a song from their latest EP ‘Happy People’ that was released Nov. 2021.
The setlist included untitled and unreleased music, including two crowd-mesmerizing ballads sung by the bass player, Seth.
The group was friendly and engaging with the crowd, Josiah even stopping to grab a painting from a member of the audience and showing it off to the crowd.
After ten songs, the band left the stage, but not without their fans pleading for an encore.
“One more song! How bad do you want one more song? What about two more songs! Well, we only prepared one more, so,” Josiah bantered with the audience.
The band finished with ‘Song For Me’, their debut single, and also the song that landed them a deal with Epitaph Records. Before the band walked off stage, they thanked everyone for coming out and Josiah landed in a split, and the crowd erupted in cheers.
