Delaney Bailey Concludes Headlining Tour With A Dreamy Performance In Chicago
Chicago, Illinois - December 5, 2025
Friday night, Chicago based singer-songwriter, Delaney Bailey, returns home for the final show in her second headlining tour at Beat Kitchen. An intimate performance to a cozy, dim lit room filled with family, friends, and fans warms the cold winter night.
Opening with “Nightshade” and “Far Away” her newest singles off of her upcoming album Concave the tone of the night was set early. Raw emotion, unguarded storytelling, and a voice that carried effortlessly through the room made it clear the audience was in for a night of deeply felt music. Barefoot and dancing around in her socks, she moved across the stage with a playful warmth that made the performance feel raw and relatable.
Midway through the set, she performed a delicate cover of Bon Iver’s “For Emma,” inviting the audience to sing along. Delaney’s soft vocals blended with the crowds gentle chorus created beautiful shared moment of bliss that spread throughout the room.
For the next portion of the set, she took a seat and performed a series of songs stripped back and acoustic. A standout moment was when she called out to her friends in the audience and dedicating the song “We Were Girls Together,” an ode to friendship and girlhood that felt especially heartfelt in the intimate setting.
Closing out the set with her hit song “j’s lullaby (darlin’ i'd wait for you),” the audience joined in with excitement, filling the space with a bittersweet warmth.
After the final note, Delaney paused to express her heartfelt gratitude, thanking everyone for their support and for sharing the night with her. It was a joyful and tender ending, one that perfectly captured the spirit of the evening and left the crowd lingering in the magic.
Delaney Bailey’s upcoming album, Concave, is set to release on January 21st - if this performance proved anything, it’s that this is an album well worth the anticipation. From the raw emotion of her new singles to the intimate, stripped-back moments of the show, Delaney demonstrated the depth and vulnerability that fans can expect from the full record.
