Arcy Drive @ The Salt Shed on 3/21

On March 21, 2025, Arcy Drive took the stage at the Salt Shed in Chicago, opening for Flipturn in what can only be described as an electrifying introduction to hundreds of new fans. With their barefoot enthusiasm and boundless ardor, the four-piece band turned their 40-minute set into an unforgettable experience.

From the moment they stepped onto the stage, Nick, Austin, Pat and Brooke embodied the spirit of a band that thrives on the sheer joy of playing music. Their chemistry was undeniable. What made their performance truly stand out, however, was their ability to connect with the crowd. Arcy Drive didn’t just play their songs; they lived them, dancing around the stage, smiling with fans and making sure everyone in the room felt like part of the experience.

A true testament to their professionalism came midway through their set when they briefly halted the performance upon noticing a medical emergency in the crowd. Without hesitation, they made sure that medical personnel could reach the fan, standing patiently and checking in with the audience before picking up right where they left off. It was a small yet significant moment that showcased their awareness and care for their growing fanbase.

Beyond their stage presence, what makes Arcy Drive so captivating is their authenticity. They exude the same energy that likely filled the shed in Brooke’s backyard where they first found their sound. Their music is infectious, indie rock and youthful. The crowd responded in kind, jumping and swaying along to every song, even though they didn’t know the lyrics. Now, a few years into the band, they have returned to a shed, but it’s a little different than Brooke’s shed, it’s an upgrade to The Salt Shed.

Many fans took to Instagram after the show, calling Arcy Drive “legendary,” while Flipturn themselves commented, “Wouldn’t have been the same without you! Y’all rip so hard every night.”

By the time their set wrapped up, there was an undeniable sense that the audience had just witnessed something special—one of those performances people will look back on and say, “I saw them before they were famous.”

It was clear that Arcy Drive had done exactly what an opening band hopes to achieve—set the tone for the night while earning a ton of new fans. Safe to say that Arcy Drive won’t be an opener for long. They’re well on their way to headlining stages of their own.

People can find Arcy Drive through their website, Instagram and Spotify for latest news about their album release and upcoming tour dates.
