Toronto, Canada - February 12th, 2026

Opening night of his 2026 North American tour, Monolink drew a sold out crowd to Toronto’s History. Defined by his own distinctive sound and style, Monolink has created his own genre, existing outside of the traditional DJ set with a combination of live vocals and instruments. As the evening started with opener Catching Flies, the energy in History was light and joyful, people dancing and sharing laughs throughout the crowd.

With the lights dimmed, Monolink walked out to a chorus of cheers, sitting at the lone keyboard in front of large black draping covering most of the stage. Opening with “Call of the Void”, the first track off of his latest album, The Beauty Of It All, the atmosphere was set early allowing the audience the first opportunity to breathe in the energy that lives in Monolink’s music.

Balancing the pulse of techno with the soul of more traditional, almost folk inspired music, Monolink transcends time, creating a unique atmosphere for him and his fans. After the opening song, the black curtain fell, revealing the larger stage set up with a keyboard, guitars and microphone in the middle of a platform, framed by large, space-like rocks.

The gratitude and warmth from Monolink through the set was contagious, the audience basking in the energy from the stage as they danced and moved to the music. On stage, Monolink took a moment in between songs to ask who in the audience had seen him before, and was met with an overwhelming wave of cheering. He laughed, remembering a scheduling mishap that took place the last time he was in Toronto opening for Rüfüs Du Sol, thanking the audience for coming to see him again.

Monolink has amassed an almost cult-like following, his unique sound driving a dedicated fanbase whose excitement and joy continuously spread through the room. Walking the line between singer-songwriter and DJ, the upbeat nature of the music blends with emotion, the crowd fully immersed in the stories infused in Monolink’s songwriting and stage presence.
