Frog Lands in the Midwest

Chicago, Illinois— April 24, 2026

New York-based band, Frog, landed in the Midwest at Chicago’s Thalia Hall on April 24th to perform their sixth show of the eight-stop tour, Frog For Sale. Frog freshly released their eighth album, Frog For Sale, on April 17th, and immediately hit the road to perform their new album.

Their first stop on the tour was in Brooklyn, and wrapping up on April 25th in Lancaster, PA. Local to Chicago, the band Feller opened the show, playing a range of songs from their discography. Feller just released an EP on Audiotree Live with six tracks, which gives an insight into their unique sound.

Frog played songs from all around their discography, including some of their hit singles, “You Know I’m Down,” “Judy Garland,” and “Hartsdale Hotbox.” It is important to mention that Frog released two albums last year in February and September, 1000 Variations on the Same Sound and The Count, which goes to show the dedication Frog has to their craft.  The crowd was feeling the energy, especially when their new song “Je Ne Sais Pas” started playing, which has a dedicated piano sound played by Danny Bateman. The energy continued with their newer songs when played, like “Dark Out,” “Bad Time to Fall in Love Again,” and “Stole My Heart.” A unique dynamic about Frog is that the group is a brother duo band, which, during the performance, Danny introduced his brother, Thomas, on the drums. Both members of the band expressed their gratitude to the fans, especially since the band has been around since 2013.

Check out their website as they are constantly adding new updates. Their “Frog For Sale” tour may be over, but they will be performing at festivals this summer. Support the band by streaming their music on all platforms, including Bandcamp, and buying their merch. Click here for more.
