The All-American Rejects Are Back In London
London, England - June 16, 2026
After 14 long years, The All-American Rejects have finally returned to London, taking the stage at The O2 Forum Kentish Town on June 16th for their RECESS TOUR. The tour follows the release of their fifth studio album, Sandbox, which also happens to be the band’s first full-length studio album released in 14 years.
Prior to the announcement of a formal tour for their new album, The All-American Rejects have been busy playing a plethora of surprise pop-up shows at unconventional venues across North America, many of them being houses and properties offered up by fans. The band will continue with these shows, of which they call their HOUSE PARTY TOUR, later this year.
Hours before the show was even set to begin, fans clad in old, ripped band t-shirts and all-black ensembles lined up in hopes of getting as close to the stage as possible. Once it was finally time for fans to enter the venue, a rush of growing excitement could be felt filtering through the air.
The second the opening notes of “Swing Swing,” a throwback to their first studio-album The All-American Rejects, rang out, the band immediately had the crowd bouncing on the soles of their feet. The crowd only became even more energized as the night went on. From “My Paper Heart” and “One More Sad Song” to “Get This” and “I Wanna,” each song quickly fed into the crowd’s frenzy. “My Paper Heart” and “One More Sad Song” had fans sucked into nostalgia. “Get This,” a new release sandwiched in between older releases, showcased the evolution of the band’s sound. The lyrics create something a little brighter than their past work: “So get this, I put you on my wishlist / I drew a star right by your name.” And “I Wanna” brought everyone right back to the peak of late 2000s garage bands.
With deep red lights and suggestive dancing, everything heated up tenfold during “Sweat.” With a funky beat and an explosive chorus, lead singer Tyson Ritter’s screams into the mic had everyone screaming right back.
After playing their iconic hit “Dirty Little Secret,” which unsurprisingly had the crowd acting in a fit of uncontrollable mania, The All-American Rejects slowed it down with a short acoustic set of “Green Isn’t Yellow” and “There’s a Place.” Although the set was a beautiful display of public emotional vulnerability, the one part that really stuck out during the two songs was Ritter’s live vocals. His voice effortlessly escaped into the air in steady notes as if it couldn’t be stopped. His ability to sing so cleanly during live performances is a truly exceptional talent.
Fans always know exactly what they want. As soon as the band transitioned from “Kids In The Street” into the beginning of “It Ends Tonight” fans wasted no time throwing their hands up and shouting the lyrics louder than they had for any other song that night. The song was most definitely the fan favorite of the night.
Closing out their set with another classic track beloved by fans, “Move Along,” the energy shifted into something supportive. Just like the lyrics, “And even when your hope is gone / Move along, move along just to make it through,” you could feel the uplifting spirits of hope, perseverance, and optimism that floats through the song. Everyone seemed to collectively become acutely aware of how fleeting the moment they were sharing was and used that to fuel them to rock out even harder.
Not long after the band had made their way off stage did the crowd start begging for more, and who were they to say no? Finishing off a night full of crowd surfing, moshing, headbanging, and straining vocal chords with a high-energy encore of “Easy Come, Easy Go” and “Gives You Hell,” fans were once again given what they wanted.
Although 14 years may have passed, The All-American Rejects are here to show you they haven’t lost their touch. They will forever remain the iconic alternative rock band they were known as in the 2000s.
The All-American Rejects are slated to play a handful of festivals through October of this year. Grab your tickets here. Request your city or offer to host a show for their HOUSE PARTY TOUR here. Listen to Sandbox below.
