Orion Sun Announces Self Titled Album 'Orion' and North America Tour Dates

Four years after her debut album, “Hold Space For Me” LA-based singer-songwriter Orion Sun has announced the upcoming release of her newest album, “Orion”. Then following up with her ”Rising Sun Tour”' across North America. The announcement follows teasers on TikTok and Instagram Live, as well as the release of two singles earlier this summer.

The self-titled album is set to release on September 20 and appears to include 14 tracks, although the track list has not been confirmed. The two released tracks, 'Mary Jane' and 'Already Gone,' highlight Orion Sun's transparency, depth, and seemingly tangible lyricism and production that has allowed her to connect with her growing fanbase.

Orion Sun's transparency stands out as a musical motif. In an interview with Paper Magazine, she discussed the profound connection between her, her music and her audience, "As I continue to grow, I'm realizing I'm speaking to myself, but I'm also speaking to who I'm actually connecting with." Orion said. This theme seems to resonate throughout 'Orion', reflected by the album art: a look into Orion's Mind, her thoughts depicted as a vibrant cityscape.

The Rising Sun Tour, kicks off in Santa Ana, California, on October 20th, featuring special guest Cruza. Tickets are available starting Friday July 12.
