A guide to Capitol Hill Block Party 2024
The Seattle festival has been held since 1997, growing from a one day event to a three day festival. Capitol Hill Block Party has hosted big names such as Lizzo, Charli XCX, and Diplo while bringing the music community in Seattle together. The festival has claimed themselves as being the best weekend in the summer with many longtime festival goers agreeing with the statement.
The 2024 Lineup has received praise from the Seattle community and many cannot wait to have the best weekend of the summer. Below, are some of the artists we are most excited to see this year and the song we hope they perform at Capitol Hill Block Party.
“Hello Hello Hello” by Remi Wolf
You can catch Remi Wolf performing on Friday, July 19th near the end of the day as one of the main acts. The first day of the festival will also have artists such as Chappel Roan, Show Me the Body, and Becky Hill to help start the weekend out strong.
“Sugar” by Jaiden Grayson
Jaiden Grayson will also be performing on Friday, July 19th following their performance at Seattle Pride Fest in late June of this year. Jaiden’s latest release, Sugar, caught our attention and came out just in time for their performance.
“I Can Change” by Mindchatter
The first day of CHBP is fully stacked, and Mindchatter adds to this amazing lineup. Having dropped both an EP and Single this year, we know Mindchatter will be a crowd favorite on July 19th.
“CGI” by corook
You probably heard their song “if i were a fish” featuring Olivia Barton, the single broke the internet in 2023 and currently has over 19 million streams. Shortly after, the artist released their album which features the song “CGI”. They will be performing on Saturday, July 20th at the festival.
“Rocky” by Still Woozy
Closing out the second day of CHBP, many fans are excited to see Still Woozy to perform. With over 7 million monthly listeners and over a billion total streams, the artist records all his hits in his garage studio.
“That I Miss You” by Vansire
The Minnesota band, Vansire, have been making music together since high school and throughout college. Now the band will be playing on Sunday, July 21st which just so happens to be the kick off of their 2024 West Coast Tour.
“Love on the Ground” by CANNONS
Since 2013, CANNONS, have been creating feel good music you may have heard in the background of multiple hit TV shows and movies. They are currently touring the U.S. and will be performing Sunday, July 21st at CHBP. You can also catch them at Lollapooloza 2024 in August.
“YOU’RE THE ONE ” by KAYTRANADA, Syd
We are looking forward to KAYTRANADA’s set which will be closing out the weekend on Sunday night. The Montreal producer will be performing right after CANNONS and COBRAH on the 21st.
