Fletcher @ Riviera Theatre

Chicago - November 2, 2022

Fletcher’s so hot

Cari Fletcher’s single “Becky’s so hot”, followed by her album “Girl of my dreams”, attracted an audience that filled up the entire Riviera Theater in Chicago. She is a rockstar with a pop album, her energy on stage seems infinite while she radiates nothing but joy.

What makes Fletcher so special, is the fact that she doesn’t embody an unattainable celebrity image. She’s authentic and real, and when you’re at her concert, she feels like a friend. During one of her songs, she told the audience she needed to record a video of the moment for her mom. Another time, she gave a heartfelt speech about her teenage years in New Jersey when she told her fans how lost she felt back then. The audience seemed to relate to the speech, cheering and clapping afterwards.

Her fans are actively involved in the show as well. They can pick the setlist for each show, specifically, they choose a “Dream Sequence" ahead of the concert that will determine which songs in what order Fletcher is going to play. Overall, people attended her show to dance, sing, and cry, which is exactly what they got. And just after the concert was over, Fletcher announced her deluxe album and dropped a new song called “Suckerpunch.”
