Beach Weather will make you feel like you're high and driving
Beach Weather will have you swooning over them after seeing their dance worthy show. The easiest way to sum up Beach Weather’s music is simply “summer euphoria”. A discography full of songs meant to be played at full volume when you’re cruising on a warm summer night with the windows down and sun roof open (which was exactly what I did on my ride home after the show).
The band took the stage at Paradise Rock Club in Boston and immediately the crowd was hyped up. Beach Weather brings the 70's and 80’s aesthetic back with their outfits and stage setup.
Starting the night, they opened with ‘Swoon’ from their first EP What a Drag, as well as performing songs from their two EP’s and first album Pineapple Sunrise, which was released earlier this year. Crowd favorites like ‘Chit Chat’ and ‘Unloveable’ were played and they closed the show with their hit song ‘Sex, Drugs, Etc.’.
Lead singer Nick Santino truly knows how to work the crowd, successfully getting everyone singing and clapping along. Guitarist Sean Silverman and bassist Reeve Powers held down the left and right sides of the stage. Drummer Jeremy Wolda and keyboardist Alex Silverman joined in on the fun too.
The band and the crowd showed off their best dance moves, everyone having a great time. Even people in the audience who weren’t familiar with Beach Weather were dancing with smiles on their faces, the music just has that effect on people.
It’s safe to say Beach Weather will have you feeling like you're high and driving. The pop rock band is currently wrapping up touring with lovelytheband and Ava Maybee, they will continue touring later this year in Canada with The Beaches. It’s definitely a show you won’t want to miss.
