Gurriers Bring Irish Punk to Baltimore

Baltimore, Maryland - September 16, 2026

As a part of their select few set of stops in North America, Gurriers brought their “Nobody’s Coming to Save You” Tour to alternative live music venue, the Otto Bar. Despite only visiting a few cities within the U.S. this tour, it was clear that Gurriers already has had a major impact on the punk scene in Baltimore, Maryland. Fans arrived in all-black clothing and wore merch from beloved Irish bands Gurriers, Kneecap, and Fontaines D.C. Amongst the crowd, many had traveled from other cities to attend tonight’s show.

There was a true sense of community that was apparent through the room. Groups of strangers introducing themselves to one another to bond over their shared love for post-punk music.

The night kicked off with electric energy from CAVA, a group based out of Germany. The crowd was immediately drawn in and head-banging along to their music. Part-way through their set, the lead singer and drummer, traded instruments, which brought cheers of excitement from the audience.

Gurriers’ set only further elevated the energy in the room. The moment they took the stage, fans began moving to the intensity of the music. Lead-singer, Dan Hoff, drew the crowd in close with his microphone in hand and came down from the stage to join the audience.

The lighting was dark, creating a heavy and moody energy. Just a few songs into the set, the crowd began creating a large circle in the center of the room for a mosh pit. Fans danced and collided during tracks like “Des Goblin” and “Nothing Happens Twice”, which were the perfect tracks for moshing.

The evening slowed down during the song “Top of the Bill.” In unison, the crowd echoed back the lyrics of the song to the band.

Gurriers upcoming album Nobody’s Coming To Save You will be released on September 25, 2026. Until then, Gurriers will be continuing their U.S. tour in Pittsburgh and Chicago before making their return to Europe.
