Lucy Dacus Leaves Forever On The Stage At The Hollywood Bowl

Los Angeles, California - September 13, 2026

Lucy Dacus graced the Hollywood Bowl stage once again to say goodbye to Forever Is A Feeling, years after closing out the last Boygenious era on the very same stage with the help of bandmates Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker. Backed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, Dacus gave a beautiful and personable performance full of heart and musical expertise.

To begin the show, the orchestra and conductor made their entrance while jumping straight into a prelude of Calliope. Soon after Dacus walked softly across the stage meeting the microphone stand in the middle. She wore a sheer black dress adorned with black sequins and structured shoulders. Dacus began her performance with “Hot & Heavy”, a fan favorite song from her 2021 album Home Video.

As each song played through, capturing the hearts and minds of everyone in the audience, Dacus kept and pretty tight set. She opted more for letting the true artistry of the music and orchestral arrangements to speak over excessive explanation or dramatized production.

The crowd was full of diehard fans and passive listeners alike. From young spirits that have been waiting for this moment for weeks to older couple and adults just there seemingly to spend a nice night amongst music, the budding energy was palpable. The quiet joy and awe could be felt so distinctly that you couldn’t help but sit back and admire.

It was truly a beautiful night that was nothing short of inspiring. Dacus once again proves her unbelievable talent and craftsmanship. While she did make note that this would be her last show for a long while, it is clear that Dacus will return in time to share more stories and feelings with fans. But for now, forever has come to an end.
